Founder/Managing Partner

Asim Kohli is an experienced State Certified appraiser with 20 years of experience in the valuation of residential real estate. He has handled thousands of appraisal assignments over the past two decades as the owner of an appraisal company which gives him a complete understanding of both the independent fee appraiser as well as the lender/client. He understands how to better serve the independent fee appraiser community as well as the lender community with competitive fees, better communication as well as a professional review process. Let’s face it most appraisal management companies do not understand the day to day obligations on both sides of the equation. Rather they only seek the cheapest alternative to choosing an appraiser for a typical assignment without taking into consideration local area expertise and/or the quality of the completed product. He has cofounded Appraisers First to better serve the appraiser as well as the lender community.

Thomas A. Harley, Esq.

Director of Compliance

Thomas A. Harley, Esq. is an experienced attorney who has represented appraisers in all facets of their practice for more than 20 years. He has handled hundreds of appraisal malpractice cases on behalf of multiple insurers, and he has represented numerous appraisers in the defense of disciplinary matters before the Board of Real Estate Appraisers. He also has advised several appraisers in the formation of their own management companies and is intimately familiar with the regulatory aspects of appraiser management practice.

Brandan Yu

Operations Manager

Brandan brings a vast knowledge of experience to our company having spent over 5 years in both Office Management and Customer Service roles. His career has consisted of working alongside many executive teams in both large and small organizations and assisting them in streamlining procedures as well as goal setting for anticipated growth. Brandan is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude to encourage others to work hard and succeed. He also possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.

Sharon brings a vast knowledge of experience to our firm having spent over 30 years in both Human Resources and Office Management. Her career has consisted of working alongside many executive teams in both large and small organizations and assisting them in streamlining procedures as well as goal setting for anticipated growth. Sharon is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She also possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.

David Benna

Director of Business Development

David is an accomplished and experienced business executive with a background in construction management, IT and financial startups. As an entrepreneur, David started a construction company focused on small commercial and residential projects. David continued down the entrepreneurial path working with his father on various Financial 401k startups. Additionally, David has been part of national sales teams, driving new business sales and implementing growth strategies. In addition to executive leadership and sales experience, David has an extensive business automation background working with and for some of the largest companies.
