Our Appraiser Standards Are High
At Appraisers First, we seek appraisal experts who demonstrate an understanding of their geographical market and the regulations within our industry. We welcome appraisers whose expectations are as high as ours when it comes to compliance, accuracy, communication, and speed.
Appraisers First Appraiser Qualifications
Our Appraisers First appraiser panel extends to local markets. Our goal is to help you succeed and complete assignments efficiently, on time, and within compliance with USPAP and other regulations. To further Appraisers First reputation for facilitating high-quality appraisal products for their clients, we are continuously searching for appraisers and reviewers that share our values and goals.
Appraisers First track record for honest and clear communication with our clients is not only an expectation but a requirement for our appraisers. Our appraisers are required to maintain transparency throughout the appraisal process and update their appraisals in our client portal on a daily basis.
To register as an Appraiser First, you must:
- Be licensed and certified with valid Errors and Omissions Insurance
- Be in good standing with all regulatory agencies
- Have a minimum of 1,000 units of experience
- Be an expert in your market area
- Have proactive communication skills
How We Assign Appraisals
At Appraisers First, we assign appraisals a little differently. We do not submit a batch appraisal order and accept the lowest bid. When an appraisal order is received, we hand-select the appraiser based on the following:
- Knowledge of the geographical proximity
- Record for completing compliant appraisals
- Low revision history
- Ability to submit a report within our required turn-time
- History of consistent communication with our team throughout the process
Becoming an Appraisers First Appraiser
- Complete our Appraiser Registration Form: If you are registering multiple appraisers in your company, please register each person individually.
- Review for quality control: After providing your contact details, certifications, licensing information, resume, and other required documents, our quality control team will reach out to review your application.
Once you have submitted your information and have been approved by our panel of quality control associates, we will contact you to discuss any appraisal opportunities in the geographical area that coincides with your expertise.
